We are trying to help the young couples or older couples who would like a beautiful wedding that is affordable for them. Everyone deserves to have a special day. We have got a few professionals together and made up a package to suit you with your wedding plans, and the best thing is we take the stress out of your organizing.

Our packages include A ceremony set up, A celebrant, A photographer, and catering for a toast. You can select a venue that we use, or you can have it at your home or special location that is right for you.

We are all changing the way that we do things now, because we need to keep our clients and family safe.

High Teas are a little different. Even though all of the food for a High Tea has always been individual serves. We are taking extra precautions with our business to ensure safety of our clients. Individual sanatisers are used so as clients can used them when it comes to pouring their tea from a teapot. Although we prefer to pour it for you, at times you just can’t wait for us to come along, and that is fine, as long as you sanatise before doing so.

We also use more trays for serving, so as the food is spread out on the tierd tray, so as each person can select their own food, in a safe manner.

Instead of our sugar cubes, (which look lovely) we now use sugar sachets.

Just cannot purchase UHT milk for a High Tea, so again we ask clients to sanatise before using the milk jug, or waiting for us to serve.

OUR BUFFET catering is also very safe. It has always been individual serves. Salads in glass jars, sweets in glass jars, and food individually wrapped for each guest. So not much of a change here. We call it picnic style catering, and is great for lunch, or dinner, inside or outside.

High Tea Ladies are now giving you the opportunity to hire our beautiful china so as you can do your own High Tea at home. We now hire our trio sets, serving trays, silverware and our linen. So if you have a celebration coming up and you would like to cater yourelf, but have some lovely china to set the scene, we are now able to assist.

High Tea Ladies are based in Lismore, NSW and we service all the surrounding areas including Byron Bay. If you are on a Holiday of a life time, having a Hens Party, girls weekend or a family reunion, why not let us make your event one to enjoy. We deliver to your home, holiday house, hall or wherever and set the provided tables with our fine china, silverware, linen and decor to suit the occasion. We stay and serve your guests, and then we clean up. No stress catering. Nothing for you to worry about, except enjoying the celebration.

Group Picnics are great set up as a buffet, and the guests can be seated at tables and chairs. Guests come to the buffet and select what they would like to enjoy in their own picnic box. Smaller groups can enjoy a picnic presented in their own wicker picnic basket, with crockery, utensils, picnic blankets, an all that you will require to enjoy the event.

We do a varity of catering so February has been a bit of a variety as well. We seemed to have done a bit of everything.

First of all there was a Baby Shower in Lennox Head. 21 Guests. It was a High Tea with all the trimmings, and we supplied the games as well. One of the games we played was Mrs Wright. It is a fun game and everyone gets a gift to either keep or give to the Mother to be.

we did a surprise picnic for two or a couple who were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. We set it up at their home, and they had no idea. This was a Breakfast picnic, set up on the verandah of their home that was being built. What a surprise they got. They had such lovelynrural views from their verandah .

Next there was a 70th Birthday Party. This was a High Tea at their home in Alstonville. Guests game from afar to celebrate. High Tea was set up with purple trimmings. There were children attending as well, so we set up our childrens china for them, so as they could enjoy the day as well. We also did a special menu for the children. I do no know of too many children that want the same High Tea food as adults.

Morning tea for a corporate business was the next event. We delivered andset up a morning tea for all the guests. We supplied home made scones, jam and cream, some savouries and sweets.

Two young ladies, one who was turning 30 had a picnic at Wategoes Beach in Byron Bay. It was a surprise for the birthday girl. We dropped off the picnic basket, picnic blanket and cushions for a brunch. We thought it wouldn’t be quite that busy then, but it was. The ladies had a great spot for their picnic though, and throughly enjoyed.

A wake was the next one that we did. We take a lot of pride in doing wakes, as we try to make it a personalised event to celebrate the life of the loved one. This family had all the fine china, linen serviettes etc set up as a buffet, as their mum was a great cook, and loved her crafts. It was such a pleasure assisting this family.

The other thing that has happened is we are in the process of trialing doing High Teas on a boat at brunswick heads. The Byron Bay Echo Cruises and Kyakes are looking at working with us to bring this alive. I feel it will be a great tourist attraction, if we can get it going.

Anyway that was about all for our month, some good times and we met some great people.
